American Pale Ale with light malt character, a strong citrus aroma and moderate bitterness with a dry, crisp finish.
This beer was originally named "Midland Trail Pale Ale", but was changed to "River Runners Pale Ale" in 2012 after one of BV's largest rafting companies. This pale ale was the owner of the company's favorite beer and promised it would be a signature brew on tap if we named it after his company. The next year, the River Runners Pale Ale won the Gold Medal at Great American Beer Festival for Pale Ales, and so the name was set in stone.
Fun Fact: River Runners Pale Ale is still on tap at River Runners today!
